T.E.N.T. is a multidisciplinary community-oriented collective that is largely performative and curatorial in focus. We create non-commercial platforms for exchange and host experimental performance events. T.E.N.T. is a research in understanding how to craft a universe, and how it comes into being through love. We love transforming the spaces that we occupy, we love to make something mundane into something unfamiliar, glorious and grand. It encourages, engorges, and celebrates the fact that it is a blend or an assemblage of different artists. We are a fluctuating collective based in Berlin, currently facilitated by four people -- Layton Lachman, Ivanka Tramp, Caroline Neill Alexander, Camila Malenchini. We work primarily in dance, with textile, video, visual art and sound art practices that support and extend our performative work.
The Club for Performance Art Gallery is a space for L I V E performances that was created during lockdown with the intention of coping with the suspension of performative practice. We invited artists to show work in the format of one-on-one L I V E performance/lecture/exchange events (one artist vs one audience). The current situation is not that of full lockdown and theaters are open again, but we hold on to this format to offer it as a space for intimate encounters.
